MassageNet has just begun a new survey for practicing Massage Therapists.
Lombard — February 3, 2011 — MassageNet has recently developed a new online survey study to gather basic information about medical conditions that are seen, but not necessarily treated, in the massage practice. These results will be used to develop future research for the massage profession and resources for practicing massage therapists. Members of the network will receive a personal survey invite and link to the survey via email. However, if you are not a member you can find out more by visiting our website at www.massagenet.org. The survey will be open for participation through February 28, 2011.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with MassageNet, it is a Practice Based Research Network that was developed about one year ago to gather data from massage therapists and their clients in real world settings. The research conducted by MassageNet is aimed at increasing recognition of the massage therapy profession and at recognizing the invaluable role therapists play in the health and wellness field. To find out more about MassageNet and how you can get involved please visit our newly redesigned website at www.massagenet.org.
As more funding becomes available, we hope to continue to expand on the information provided by our network. More research studies are to come and data from previous studies will be available soon, so please check our website regularly.
