The Massage Therapy Foundation just released the opportunity to submit abstracts for the 2014 AMTA National Convention Poster Session in Denver, CO happening this September. Whether you are a therapist, educator, student, or researcher you have something important to share with your peers! Posters submissions of all kind are welcomed, whether the author chooses to present the results of a case report on an interesting client (student cases welcome also); programmatic evaluation of an innovative educational program in massage school curricula or community service project; or the reporting of results from an original research project. The submission deadline is Friday June 20, 2014. Find out more about the Call for Abstracts.
Having an abstract accepted for presentation at a conference or convention is a true honor; however, the work does not stop at the abstract. Poster design is both a science and an art. There are several things one must consider once your poster has been accepted. Learn more about How to Design a Poster.
Finally, it is always important to understand the audience to which you will be presenting your poster. Learn more about the AMTA National Convention.
